August 1-3, 2024

The Association for Economic Research of Indigenous Peoples (AERIP), the American Society of Hispanic Economists (ASHE), and the National Economic Association (NEA) announce the 8th annual Freedom and Justice summer conference on August 1-3, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia. This year’s conference theme is Freedom and Justice: Building Power and Resilience in Our Communities. The conference will be hosted by Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, with generous support from the Economic Policy Institute, the Institute for Women’s Policy Research, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, the Roosevelt Institute, and the Washington Center for Equitable Growth.

The conference will be hosted by Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. The Freedom and Justice Conference is an interdisciplinary social justice conference that attracts a small group of scholars who are dedicated to discussing pressing economic problems and their solutions for communities of color.
