The NYU Furman Center invites applications for a Research Associate to join the Housing Solutions Lab. Launched in June 2021, the Housing Solutions Lab (Lab) works with cities across the country to design, monitor, and evaluate promising local housing policies.
The Research Associate will work closely with the Lab’s faculty and small leadership team to build a portfolio of research and evaluation projects primarily in small and midsize cities, and to develop a network of researchers engaged in research about smaller cities. Responsibilities include collaboration with faculty and leadership to identify, design, and implement research and evaluation projects, supervision of research staff and fellows, and participation in all aspects of Lab research activities. Qualifications include expertise in quantitative research design and methodologies, a Doctoral degree in relevant field (e.g. Public Policy, Economics, Sociology), and experience working with large administrative data sets.
