Job Description:
Postdoctoral Associate, Economics, to join Nathaniel Hendren in conducting economic analysis on the welfare impacts of government policies. Will be part of Policy Impacts, an organization co-founded by Professor Hendren, that is dedicated to improving the quality of government decision-making by promoting standardization in policy analysis; and work closely with Nathaniel Hendren and a range of collaborators at other universities along with a research team of pre-doctoral fellows based at MIT.
Job Requirements:
Required: a doctoral degree in economics, education, public policy, political science, computer science, or a related field; a demonstrated track record of conducting microeconomic analysis and measuring the welfare impact of government policies using a public economic toolkit; and strong management, communication, and technical skills.
This is a full-time, one-year appointment that is renewable annually. An employment term of at least two years is strongly preferred.
The expected starting salary range is competitive with the market.
