RTI International’s Division for Comprehensive Health Innovation, Research, and Policy (CHIRP) has multiple openings for a Master’s-level Research Associate to assist in cutting-edge analyses of innovative health and social policies, particularly within Medicare and Medicaid. CHIRP is comprised of exceptionally engaged innovators, researchers, and programmers who are committed to improving our U.S. health care systems. As a Research Associate, you will function as an integral part of a team supporting analytic activities and project coordination. The role includes opportunities to collaborate with senior research staff while developing an in-depth understanding of critical health policy issues and advanced methods. This position will lead quantitative and qualitative research activities related to topics such as Medicare and Medicaid claims data, quality measures, and statistical analysis of health care programs and interventions using R, SAS and/or Stata.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s degree (May 2022 graduates will be considered) in Public Health, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, Public Policy, Gerontology, or a related field
• A demonstrated interest in health services or health policy research
• Quantitative and/or qualitative research experience or coursework
• Experience with R, Python, SAS, SPSS, NVivo, and/or Stata
