Environmental Defense Fund is seeking a Manager, Agricultural Economics and Policy Analysis. This is a remote opportunity and is an integral part of our Economics team. The key responsibilities will be the planning and management of research and conducting analysis focused on key climate-smart agriculture policies, programs, and financial incentives. The Manager, Agricultural Economics and Policy Analysis will focus on the relationships between climate risks to agriculture, production practices that build resilience, and agricultural risk management policies and products in the U.S. and other nations. This involves quantifying the environmental and financial impact of adopting climate-smart agricultural practices, designing financial products and market structures to support practice adoption, and advising policy development that supports equitable financial incentives for farmers.
