The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, Massachusetts seeks applicants for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position beginning July 1, 2024, or as soon thereafter as possible. Applicants should hold a PhD in Economics and have an outstanding record of research in the field of macroeconomics commensurate with appointment at the untenured or tenured Associate Professor level. Particularly outstanding candidates at other ranks may also be considered. Responsibilities include teaching 1 subject per term the first year and 1.25 subjects per term thereafter, departmental committee work, and productivity in research. Applications must be received by July 31, 2023.
