The Economics Department at Hamilton College invites applications for a tenure-track position in international economics at the Assistant Professor level beginning July 1, 2023. Applicants should be committed to excellence in both undergraduate teaching and scholarly research. The successful candidate will teach courses in international finance on a regular basis, but scholarship in related fields will also be welcome. The teaching load for this position is 4 courses in the first year and 5 courses thereafter. The College provides ample support for research, including start-up funds. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Economics or expect to complete all requirements before fall 2023. The position requires institutional service including academic advising of undergraduate students after the first year.
