Miesha Williams

Dr. Miesha Williams is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Morehouse College and Visiting Scholar in USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. She researches macroeconomic policies in Africa and the U.S. She’s obtained grants and fellowships financed by NSF, USDA, Carnegie Foundation and Koch Foundation. She’s published in AEA Papers and Proceedings, Southern Economic Journal, Journal of Economics Race and Policy, Review of Black Political Economy, and she’s co-edited a special issue on Social Justice with Agricultural and Resource Economics Review. Williams’ M.A (2010) and Ph.D. (2014) in Economics are from University of Alabama. She earned a B.S. Economics from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
