Colin Cannonier

Dr. Colin Cannonier is a Professor of Economics and Director of the Faculty Fellows Program at Belmont University. An applied economist, his research spans education, health, labor, and public policy. He previously held roles as an economist and statistician at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank and now serves as a Research Fellow and Country Lead for St. Kitts and Nevis with the Global Labor Organization. His work appears in AEA Papers and Proceedings, Economics of Education Review, Economic Modelling, Harvard Business Review, and UNESCO. He co-edited Contemporary Issues within Caribbean Economies and received a WorkRise grant to study labor market equity. A Fulbright Scholar, he has delivered national keynote addresses and represented his country in soccer and cricket.
